If you&#8217;re on a research team as a patient partner providing your lived experience, you might be asked to review a manuscript before it&#8217;s submitted to a journal to be considered for publication.<\/p>\n<p>There are lots of reasons why your perspectives about a manuscript are important &#8211; here are a few:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La r\u00e9troaction de tous les membres de l\u2019\u00e9quipe de recherche qui ont contribu\u00e9 aux travaux avant la publication et la diffusion d\u2019un manuscrit est une partie importante du processus de recherche.<\/li>\n<li>En fournissant de la r\u00e9troaction, vous vous assurez que la recherche sera pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e d\u2019une mani\u00e8re qui est facile \u00e0 comprendre, qui tient compte des patients et qui refl\u00e8te les messages qui comptent vraiment pour eux. Si oui, n\u2019h\u00e9sitez pas \u00e0 le mentionner!<\/li>\n<li>Le contenu vous inspire-t-il des pistes de r\u00e9flexion pour d\u2019autres avenues de recherche?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consider how you would like to provide feedback &#8211; e.g., in writing, on a call or in a meeting, or some other way that works best for you.<\/li>\n<li>Critical feedback is just as or even more important than positive feedback. Don&#8217;t worry about hurting feelings when suggesting things that could be changed.
