PxP Conference
PxP 2025 took place September 9–12. The themes for the three days were: what's happening and what's possible, setting up for success and inspiring others, and pushing the envelope.
New for 2025 were:
- Re-watch parties playing back content for different time-zones so that people could come together and chat while watching the recording.
- Conference booths including a virtual 'quiet room' where people can spend time away from the noise and stimulation of the main event spaces. This included links for mindfulness and breathing exercises, along with mental health resources.
- Capabilities for speakers to deliver their content in different languages.

PxP Regional Series
In 2025, members of the steering committee for the global PxP conference also led regional sessions for Africa, Australia and India. Wherever you are based in the world, these groundbreaking discussions will hold important learnings. In 2024 and 2025 we were delighted to delighted to host a webinar series in collaboration with the Patient Engagement Research Ambassadors (PERA) at CIHR-IMHA. This webinar series was intended to keep momentum between the annual conferences, typically hosted in September. More information and webinar recordings are available at the button below.
PxP Conference
PxP 2024 took place September 10–13, 2024. The event continued the conversations from the inaugural conference the year before and the themes included: valuing your voice as a patient partner, tackling the challenging topics about patient engagement in research and advancing best practice in research partnerships.
New for 2024 were 'ask me anything' or 'you can't ask that' sessions at the end of each day. These were set up as meetings, rather than webinars, and the sessions were not recorded to help foster a safe and less formal space for attendees to join in discussions and ask questions. The 2024 conference platform was Zoom Events which allowed more features and functionality than the first year which was hosted on Zoom Webinars.

PxP Conference
The first ever PxP conference took place on September 12–14, 2023. PxP 2023 was a three-day virtual conference that focused on boosting skills in patient engagement, trailblazing new approaches, and strengthening patient partnerships by raising the benchmarks for best practice.
